VISA in Thailand can be really tricky for someone, who is dealing with it for the first time.
Basically, you do not need visa agency to enter Thailand. A lot of tourists, coming to Thailand do not visa at all.
There is quite an extensive list of countries, whose residents do not need visa and can visit Thailand for 30 or even 60 days, with “visa on arrival” scheme. All you need is to register your data online in the immigration system.
For some countries, prior visa is required to come to Thailand, even as a tourist.
Almost everyone can extend her / his tourist visa for another 30 days by visiting Immigration office and paying the fee. Since 2025, repeated entries by "visa runs" are considered to be illegal and you may not get another extension.
I came to Thailand on tourist visa for a vacation, but as a consequent of events, going on in Ukraine, I decided to stay here for a longer time, doing my online job and enjoying the Phuket beaches at the same time. Getting the visa became a nightmare quite quickly, especially when I am still struggling with English. After 2 or 3 encounters with local “visa agencies”, my friend recommended me these iura guys and it was a real salvation for me. Thank you, guys.
